We are a semi casual Raiding Guild. We originated on Galakrond and have now transferred to Whisperwind. We originally formed from a small core of friends who like raiding together. We don't like drama and we don't tolerate foolishness. We get together to raid and advance our raid progression in a low pressure and enjoyable environment. 

We don't believe progression and a relaxed enjoyable experience are mutually exclusive. We believe we can progress, treat each other respectfully and have a good time doing it. If your style is to call out teams members for every nitpicky miscue then you are not for us. We don't roll that way. We rationally discuss our strats and work with our team mates to help them execute their roles and carry out their assignments. If that sounds like the kind of experience you want to be a part of then apply. Guild enrollment is open to all.

A few points of interest about The Drunk Monks. We formed in January of 2012. We had a standing Friday evening Pug group going so it only seemed to make sense for us to form our own Guild. We were fairly successful early on in Dragon Soul progression. After starting almost 2 months after the other Guilds raid teams we were the 14th Guild on our original realm to clear on normal mode. Kind of stalled out after we were unable to recruit reliable regulars to fill out our raid team. We transferred the Guild to Whisperwind with some core members to get a new start on a realm that has a much larger active population. 

We expect to have a regular Tues, Thurs raiding team up and running within the next two weeks and intend to have a once a week alt team raid for our main team alternates to help them stay sharp. We aren't particularly demanding of our members. We do realize that this is a game and everyone has real lives outside of WoW. All we ask is that you maintain 2 fully leveled primary professions on your raiding toon/s and occasionally participate in weekly Guild Dungeon runs, Scenario runs, or Old Content Raids to help fund the guild repairs and maybe help farm up some old content mounts and achieves for yourselves and your guildies.
